As we move into summer, I want to thank our students, staff, and families for a strong first year at the Milner Crest Education Center.

This year, we brought seven unique programs together under one roof: Little Pirates Preschool, Destinations Academy, Resource Link Charter School, CBD9 Online, MHS Online, the Teen Parent Program, and our After School Program. Each program serves students and families in different ways, but we are connected by the same goal of supporting students by name, strength, and need.

Throughout the year, our students grew, our staff adjusted to new spaces and routines, and our families helped us continue building a welcoming environment. Like any first year in a new building, there were things to learn and improve, but there were also many positive moments to celebrate.

Thank you for your patience, support, and partnership this year. I hope our students, staff, and families have a restful and enjoyable summer.
